How we work
Guided by information that you provide, we form a health and nutrition profile of your pet and create a customized diet plan that includes all the essential nutrients in the proper portions and doses, based on age, breed, weight, and medical conditions. The plan provides detailed guidance around which pet foods, brands, or products will best meet your dog or cat’s needs, how to transition to a new diet, as well as recommendations specific to their needs. Our health and nutrition profile appointments can help resolves or manage and maintain issues such as diabetes, food intolerances, chronic skin conditions, and digestive disorders.
We believe that it’s important to address the whole pet, so in addition to diet we look at activity levels, grooming, and overall emotional health and may make suggestions in these areas.
We are happy to discuss your pet’s health needs, along with our recommendations, with your veterinarian. Working with veterinarians ensures that everyone on your pet’s care team is aligned. We can also help you create a list of questions to ask your vet to ensure you receive the best care and information.

Tazz Latifi, the founder of Petropolist Pet Nutrition Center, received her certification in pet nutrition and natural pet foods from the American Academy of Natural Sciences in 2012. She has helped thousands of pet owners support their pet’s health and quality of life through the application of proper individualized diet and nutrition.
